Steven Wayne Ford of Wilburton, Oklahoma died Saturday, November 3, 2018 at his home at the age of 54
Steven was born on September 4, 1964 in Ardmore, Oklahoma to Buster Ford and Jerri (Mitchell) Ford. He graduated from Wilburton High School with the Class of 1982. He then attended Eastern Oklahoma State College. Steven worked mostly as a professional musician and a truck driver for the City of Wilburton. He married Summer (Wyant) Ratliff on November 24, 2012 at Robbers Cave State Park.
Steven loved music, playing the bass guitar, and motorcycles. He was a generous and kind person.
He is survived by his wife Summer Ford of Keota; son, Junior Brents of Keota; sister, Vicki Ford Powell and husband, Rick of Mississippi, niece, Ashley Breight and husband, Eddie of Baton Rouge, LA; nephews, Jared Powell of Columbus, MS, Justin Powell and wife, Lauren of Simpsonville, SC and Nathan Powell and wife, Keri of Columbus, MS; great nephews and great nieces, Logan, Garrett, Isabella, Hudson, Adeline and Lyla.
Steve is preceded in death by his parents, Buster and Jerri Ford and son, Daniel Ratliff.
Funeral service will be held 10:00 am Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Jones-Harkins Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Damon Cemetery, Damon Valley Community, OK.
