Andrew “Andy” Hatke, 76, of Sidell, passed away at 9:35pm, Wednesday, November 7, 2018, at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center, Danville. He was born on October 15, 1942, in Lafayette, Indiana, the son of Isidore “Izzy” and Margaret {Brown} Hatke, both deceased. He was united in marriage to Carla {Sherry} Hatke on January 20, 2005 in Englewood, Florida. She will miss him dearly.
Andy was a graduate of Lafayette Central Catholic High School. He loved farming. He enjoyed making coffee at the Elevator for the guys and going to farm sales. He was a “John Deer Green” man who loved his family very much.

A Catholic Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, November 13, 2018, at St. Isaac Jogues Church, 109 W 7th St, Georgetown, with Father Deus officiating. Visitation will be held 9:30am to 11:00am prior to his service on Tuesday at the Church with a Rosary Service to begin at 11:00am. He will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery, Sidell.
