Deborah Ann Sinclair Washington peacefully answered the Master’s call home on Saturday, November 3, 2018. She was born September 24, 1952 in Flint, Michigan. Deborah was the oldest daughter of the late Albert and Lenora Sinclair. She was educated in the Winston-Salem Forsyth County school system and was a graduate of Forsyth Technical College after which she became a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was employed by various nursing facilities throughout the years where she was dedicated and caring to her patients until her health declined.

Deborah was an avid poet and loved to complete jigsaw puzzles in her spare time. She loved country music; especially the Judds and she had a beautiful singing voice herself. She was always abreast of the latest political issues and enjoyed bringing comedic relief to anyone who needed a brighter day. For that reason, she was affectionately known by the dedicated nurses at Wake Forest Baptist Health as “Sunshine”.
