Vicki Michele Walker lost her brave battle against lung cancer at home surrounded by her family. She was born the middle child of Audrey Irene Bowden. Vicki graduated from South Gate High School in the class of 1960. In 1962 she married Carroll "Mel" Walker and together they were the devoted and loving parents of three children, Robert, Douglas and Sandra. Vicki worked in the family business, Sunshine Industrial Uniform Rentals, from 1980 to 1992. She also worked for Sears in Renton WA and Brea CA until she retired in 2005. Vicki and her husband have been members of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church since 1977.
Along with her husband, and three children Vicki leaves behind five grandchildren, Scot, Joel, Erica, Benjamin, and Joshua; one sister, Nadine Wray Lyons and many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed.
