MULLINS - Willie Joe Fowler, 51, formerly of Mullins, passed away at his residence, Monday, November 5, 2018 in Charlotte, NC.

Willie was born October 26, 1967 in Mullins, a son of the late Roland and Katherine McDaniels Fowler. He was a manager for Food Line in Charlotte. Willie, a Mullins High School graduate, loved fishing and was an avid Pittsburg Steelers and Clemson Tigers fan. He served in the National Guard for 12 years.

Surviving Willie are a son, Nick Fowler of Enochville, NC; one brother, Roland L. (Judy) Fowler of Salisbury, NC; one sister, Judy Fowler Hinson of Mullins; and 1 grandson.

Willie was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Horace Hinson.

Funeral services will follow be held Saturday morning at 11:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Cox-Collins Funeral Home, with Rev. Glenn Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Devotion Gardens.
