Sharon was born on September 15, 1948, the daughter of Betty (Sheehan) and Jim Freeman. She worked as a cook at Loch Haven Nursing Home and in the deli department at C & R Markets for many years and loved the people she worked with and her customers. Sharon also enjoyed gardening, hummingbirds, playing games on the internet, and shopping.
She is survived by three brothers, Roy Enlow and his wife Pat of Excello, MO, James Freeman of Oklahoma City, OK, and Jeff Freeman of Arizona; four sisters, Mary Garnes of Indiana, Lynn Eaks of Oklahoma, Darla Simons and her husband Richard of Indiana, and Nancy Sulkosky and her husband Ed of Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews that she loved dearly and took pride in all their accomplishments.
Sharon is preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Robert Freeman and Tom Enlow.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 12, 2018 at the Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home in Macon with Bro. Jim Bolin officiating. A private family burial will be in the Grandview Cemetery in Hannibal, MO, at a later date. Visitation will be Monday afternoon, 1:00 pm until the time of the service, at the funeral home. Family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society.
