Brett Dixon Martin of Fort Stockton, Texas passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2018 in Abilene, Texas.

He was born August 31, 1967 in Abilene to Jimmy and Sue Martin.

He graduated in 1985 from Eunice High School.

He began his career in the oil and gas fields, working his way up from water hauler to his final job as a corrosion specialist. Brett worked for McCasland, EOG, EOTT Energy, Transwestern, Devon, and Apache.

Brett married Jennifer Murphy in Abilene on July 31, 2004.

Brett was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Martin, Grandmommy and Granddad, Georgia and Elvin Hahn.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer, his mother Sue Martin, his sister Kerry (Colandra) and their children Khara, Lili, and Forrest; Uncle Gerry (Betty) Hahn and their children Suzannah and Courtney, Uncle Phillip Hahn. Mother in-law/Father in-law Karen Murphy and Jack Turner, Brother in-law Curtis (Mary) Murphy and their sons Noah and Nathan.

Pallbearers will include Lee Fox, Lloyd Wayne Fox, Cody Arnold, Luis Bustos, John Lane, and Austin Williams.

We will all miss him!!
