Hayes: Anthony L. “Tony” Jenkins, 49, died at his home November 4, 2018. Tony was a Gloucester native, graduate of Gloucester High School and enjoyed carpentry work. He was kind, loved to laugh and loved his family. Tony will be missed by everyone who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Gail Reyes.
He is survived by his father, Lionel Jenkins (Helen); mother, Harriet Ashby and step father, Eugene Ashby; brothers, Michael Jenkins (Annette) and Don Allen Jenkins; loving niece, Shannon Weekly; a special aunt, Sheryl Brown; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service officiated by Reverend Richard Whiteheart will be 2 p.m. Friday, November 9, 2018, at Union Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Rosewell Memorial Garden Cemetery. The family will greet friends prior to the service on Friday, beginning at 1 p.m. at the church.
