Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 10, 2018 at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Pete Hughes and Rev. Bobby McFarland officiating. Interment will follow in Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m., Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
Mrs. Jones retired as a teacher from the Dawson County Board of Education and was an active member of Cool Springs Baptist Church. She enjoyed oil painting and loved kids.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe C. Jones.
Survivors include her children, Al Kellogg (Charlene), Chuck Kellogg (Wanda), Andy Kellogg (Michelle), Susie Gouge and Joan Hughes (Pete); 17 grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren.
