Carolyn Smith Rowland, 88, of Langley, SC, wife of the late Mr. James F. Rowland, entered into rest on Wednesday, November 7, 2018, in the comfort of the same home that she was born in. A lifelong resident of Langley, she was a daughter of the late George R. and Alma Gunter Smith.
She was a lifelong dedicated member of Langley First Baptist Church and retired from the Aiken County Probate Court after twenty-five years of service. Miss Carolyn is now at perfect peace in the presence of the Lord. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend. She loved the Lord and let his love shine through her. She was an angel on earth and loved everyone she met.
In addition to her husband and parents, family members include her children, Mike Rowland and his wife, Diane, Clearwater, SC, Tommy Rowland, Aiken, SC and Beth Overstreet, Langley, SC; grandchildren and their spouses, Chad and Tonya Rowland, Andrea and Jason House, Jonathan Overstreet, Megan and Chris Plunkett and Monica Overstreet and seven great-grandchildren.
Miss Carolyn dearly loved her family.
Interment will follow in Langley Cemetery, Langley, SC.
