Ms. Maria Gayle Allen, age 54 of Spring City, Tennessee passed away Monday, November 5, 2018 at Rhea County Medical Center in Dayton, TN.

she was born January 29, 1964 to George and Jean Waldo.

Gayle was an avid reader and enjoyed spending hours reading her favorite books or watching movies. She loved her family and family vacations.

Gayle was employed as the Security Coordinator and Procedure Writer at TVA Watts Bar Facility. She attained many degrees and earned her Masters Degree from Bellvue University.

She was a member of the Mensa International Society.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Wilma Jean Waldo.

Survivors Include Son Bradley Allen (Christy) of Spring City, TN. 3 Grandchildren: Cameron Chester of Indiana Blake Sattler of Indiana Abby Sattler of Spring City, TN. 3 Great- Grand children Caydin Chipman Roman and Straton Chester Father Rev. George Waldo of Spring City, TN. Sisters Susan Cantrell (Nolan) of Cookeville, TN. Terri Kamer (Jason) of Spring City, TN. 2 Nieces Chelsea and Rachell Kamer of Spring City, TN. 3 Nephews Chad Cantrell of Cookeville, TN. Brian and Jared Kamer of Spring City, TN. Several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins

Family will receive friends Monday, November 12, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Evans Mortuary.

Funeral Service will follow at 7:00 pm in the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with Rev. Shane Johnston and Rev. Jake Fisher officiating.

Interment and graveside service will be Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 11:00 am in the Glen Alice Cemetery.
