Lee Ann Bailey, age 53, of Washington Depot, CT, passed away at her home Friday November 2, 2018. She was the widow of Bruce Mason Bailey, Jr.

Lee was born July 19, 1965 in New Milford, CT, a daughter of the late Charles Hills, Sr. and Betty (Ryder) Hills Emmons. Lee was a graduate of New Milford High School and owner of the former Bailey’s Diner in Washington, CT. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with family and friends. She was known as Lee-Lee and Momma Lee to all of her ‘kids’ with whom she loved dearly.

Lee is survived by three children: Justin Bailey and his wife Jessica of New Milford, CT, Stephen Bailey and his wife Kristin of Washington, CT and Lynzee Ensley and her father Brett of Bridgewater, CT. Also surviving are stepmother Janice Hills, brother Charles Hills, Jr. and sisters Monica Snelling and Jody Yawn, nieces Brandy Ball, Amanda Inman, Kristin Hills, Sarah and Jennifer Bailey, nephews Daniel Hills, John Ball, and Nicolai Caldwell and special friend Scott LeBlanc. She is preceded in death by grandparents Charles and Mary Ryder and Newton and Ruby Hills, stepfather Gary Emmons and nephew Preston Yawn.

Memorial calling hours will be held in the Colonial Funeral Home 87 Park Lane RD., New Milford, Friday evening November 9, 2018 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM. A graveside service will take place in Judea Cemetery, Washington, CT on Saturday November 10, 2018 at 11:00 AM.
