Rock Musician. Born David Wayne Carnell, he was the original lead singer for the heavy metal band "Metal Church". In 1984 they released their first album "Metal Church" followed by "The Dark" in 1986. A live album was also recorded in 1984 but not released until 1998. In 1989 he left Metal Church and formed "Reverend" performing on the albums "Reverend EP" in 1989, "World Won't Miss You" in 1990, "Play God" in 1991, and "Live" in 1992. He reunited with Metal Church on their comeback album "Masterpeace" in 1999. Another EP with Reverend "A Gathering of Demons" came out in 2001 and his solo album "Metal Church" was released the same year. David Wayne died due to complications from injuries he sustained in a head-on automobile accident.
