Obituary for Sandra Ferguson
Sandra Kay Ferguson was born on March 9, 1954, in Waco, Texas. She passed away of natural causes on October 26, 2018, in Dayton, Texas.
She is survived by her daughter, Andra McManus and husband James; three grandchildren, Conner (11), Aric (9), and Erin (4); her brother, Al Woodum and wife Trish; along with her sister Sherry Wall and husband Marc.
During her life, Sandra loved arts and crafts and to paint. (Example on table) Her favorite color was purple and her favorite pet was a dog named Maddie. She never gave into her disability and always kept a positive attitude.
Sandra is preceded in death by parents, AJ and Pauline Woodum, and by her husband, Wendell Ferguson who passed in June of 2000.
Someone once said, “The coolest people I’ve ever met have the most colorful pasts, they’ve lived lives of risks, sometimes made bad choices, learned lessons, explored and they are my kind of people.” This describes Sandra. She was filled with laughter and even though confined to a wheelchair, she was filled with a great sense of humor and always saw the glass as half full. I believe this is due to the great love she had for her daughter and her three grandchildren and Tonya who always made sure she had what she needed to be comfortable.
Thank you all who gave her joy and gave her great moments and memories.
