HARRISON Sr., Douglas L. 77, graduated from this life into God's presence on October 31, 2018. He was born on April 25, 1941 in Colp, Illinois. A longtime resident of Dayton, Doug Sr. was a U.S. Army veteran, retired autoworker of Chrysler Dayton Thermal, and retired real estate broker and owner of Doug Harrison Realty. He attended Greater Works Christian Center, Riverside, Ohio. Preceded in death by his parents Ernest Sr. and Lora Harrison, son Bryant, and siblings Commodore, Walter, Ernest Jr., Dardanella and Vivian. To cherish his memories are two children Doug Jr. (Robin) and Aundreya; former wife Karen Frezgi; brothers Elbert (Ann), Earl and Muriel; sisters Carmella Anthony, Carolyn Moore, Loraine (Robert) Nash, Priscilla Smith, Shirley (Robert) Blackmon, and sister in-law Beverly (Ernest Jr.); grandchildren Durrell, Domonique, Joel, Jared, Noah and Marxus Smith; great-grandchildren Anaiah, Azariah, Lola, Reonnah and Marley; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces/nephews, other relatives, neighbors and friends. The Life Celebration service will be 1:00 PM Friday, November 9, 2018 at Canaan Missionary Baptist Church, 5191 Hoover Ave., Dayton, Ohio. Rev., Dr. Joseph L. Coleman, Sr., officiating. Family will receive friends at 12 noon. Interment follows at The Dayton National Cemetery.
