POMONA — Cathy Louis Sanders, 71, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Tuesday, July 10, 2018.
Cathy was born April 22, 1947, in Pomona, the daughter of the late Clifford and Gladys Lucille (Griffin) Ellis.
She is survived by her children, Lonnie Sanders, Connie Sanders-Baum, Rhonda Sanders; three grandchildren, Tyler Sanders, Dustin Klink, Austin Shurtz; siblings, Eugene Ellis, Betty Cauble, Emma Sanders, Bob Ellis, Linda Zimmerman, Debbie Gearhart and Shirley Gee; 25 nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and nephews.
Cathy is preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Gladys Ellis; one brother and four sisters.
Services will be at noon Monday, July 16, in Walker Funeral Home in Alto Pass, with Pastor Carroll Toler officiating. Interment will be in Dutch Ridge Cemetery, Pomona. Visitation will be at 11 a.m.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Belleville.
