DAWSON, Norma Lee 94, of Springfield went home to be with her Lord on Monday, November 5th at Springfield Regional Medical Center. She is was born April 24th, 1924 in Claiborne County, Tennessee the daughter of Charles and Verna (Rowlett) Edens. Norma was a member of Southgate Baptist Church for over 45 years. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law: Sharon (Roy) Landrum and Shirley (Walter) Johnson, all of Springfield; two sisters: Charlene Walker of Tennessee and Claudette Ward of Springfield; She leaves behind eight grandchildren; 17 great- grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her three husbands who all knew the Lord; a sister Laverne Wade; two brothers: Omer Edens and Andrew Edens; Norma outlived her son George "Jerry" Surber. A celebration of Norma's life will be Saturday at 12 p.m. at LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME, SPRINGFIELD. The family will receive friends from 11-12 on Saturday. Burial will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery. Online expressions of sympathy may be made through www.littletonandrue.com "I hadn't any attributes or accolades to write about. I came thru the great depression and at age 6 cared for siblings while her parents worked, married at 18 and was a care giver until age 87." For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
