Kenneth Hilman Ledford, age 92 of Hayesville passed away Saturday November 3, 2018 at his home. He was the son of Wade and Robilee Blankenship Ledford. Kenneth was a US Navy Veteran of World War II. He was a avid pilot and gardener, loved trout fishing, was a middle school teacher and loved to help kids. Kenneth was a member of South Hayesville Church of God.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Alawayne Parks Ledford; daughter, Debbie Sue Ledford; brother, Charles Ledford and sister, Betty Ledford.
He is survived by his sons, Tony Wayne Ledford and wife Joy, Kenneth Gary Ledford and wife Linda, Johnny Ledford and wife Tamara; daughter, Cari Misseri and husband Hal; grandchildren, Kenneth Wade, Tony Jr., Toby, Sheila, Johnny, Curtis, Alasia Ledford and Kevin Krach and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm Friday November 9, 2018 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Curt Ledford and Pastor Alasia Ledford will officiate. Pallbearers will be Tony Ledford Jr., Toby Ledford, Kenneth Wade Ledford, John Curtis Ledford, Dalton Ledford and Wade Ledford. Burial will be in Bethabara Cemetery.
