Born in Byron to the late Calder Gresham Aultman and Helen Gassett Aultman, Rev. Aultman served in Germany while serving in the United States Army. He became an ordained Methodist minister with the South Georgia Conference in 1967 and honored the Lord with his service for 31 years. After retiring in 1998, Rev. Aultman and his beloved wife Pat moved back home to Byron where he enjoyed helping other pastors and churches as he was needed. He and Pat loved to travel with their camper as they road all over America. He was a member of Byron United Methodist Church and the Faith Sunday School Class. He also assisted with services at Rooks Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Byron United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 6, Byron, GA 31008, in Rev. Aultman's memory. Rooks Funeral Home in Byron is in charge of arrangements.
