Karen Doris Douglas Hammer

Karen Doris Douglas Hammer passed away on November 4, 2018. She was born December 1, 1948 in Ogden, Utah to Lida Garner and Donald Douglas. She graduated from Ben Lomond High. Karen married Norman Hammer in St. Anthony, Idaho on August 3, 1970.

Mom enjoyed her trips to Wendover; but most of all she loved being with her kids and grandkids. She was very caring and had such a fun personality she made friends wherever she went.

Karen is survived by her husband Norman; children Clint Hammer and Jodi (Reed) Frandsen; 3 grandchildren Tyson Hammer, Riley Hammer and Gabriella Frandsen. She is also survived by her siblings, Gary (Karlene) Douglas, Clyde (Judy) Douglas and Pam Hampton. She was preceded in death by her father; mother; step-mother and her sister.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at the Plain City Cemetery, 4373 West 1975 North, Plain City, Utah.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made to the American Cancer Society.
