Born in Ft. Worth, Texas, he was the son of the late Carroll and Helen Wright. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Pamela F. Wright; two sons, Jacob Wright and Aaron Wright, both of Greensboro and two brothers, David Wright of Asheville and Daniel Wright of Simpsonville, S.C.
