Kathie was born in New Bedford on July 31, 1946, to Kasimir and Gloria (Bollea) Gonet. She graduated from Dartmouth High School and became the CEO of sales and marketing for Wallace Associates. She gave generously of her time to the Kelley for Ellie fund, as well as the Plymouth and North East Animal Shelters.
Beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Kathie is survived by her husband Tom Wallace; daughter and fiancé, Dee Wallace Spencer and Charlie Taormina; son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Maria Wallace; and grandsons, Shea and Vance Spencer.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, November 8, 2018, from 6:00 to 9:00pm at Cartmell-Davis Funeral Home, 150 Court Street, Plymouth.
A funeral service will be held at the Cartmell-Davis Funeral Home on Friday, November 9, at 9:00am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Bonaventure’s Church, 801 State Rd., Plymouth (Manomet). Interment will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Grove Street, Sandwich.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601 or www.alz.org.
