Hannah Isabell Thomas, 85, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2018 at her home in Blackfoot.

Hannah was born November 26, 1932 in Blackfoot, Idaho, to Lloyd Samuel and Ellen Matilda Anderson Denlinger. She grew up in Thomas, where she attended schools, graduating from Snake River High School. Other than two years spent in Italy and two years in Rochester, New York, where her husband was stationed while in the Air Force, she spent her lifetime in the Blackfoot and Thomas area.

She married Boyd Thomas on February 28, 1951 in Thomas. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on June 6, 1961.

Hannah spent 23 wonderful years as a medical assistant at the Blackfoot Medical Clinic. She also worked at the Idaho Potato Museum.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served as a primary teacher and was involved with the Cub Scouts.

In her free time, Hannah enjoyed quilting, computer games and going for rides in the car with her family.

Hannah is survived by her children, Blair Thomas of Ammon, Idaho, Bryan (Rebekah) Thomas of Concord, North Carolina, Regina (Ricky) Jensen of Blackfoot and Lynnette Thomas of Blackfoot; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Boyd, parents, Matilda and Lloyd Denlinger; and brothers, J.B. Denlinger and Carlyn Denlinger.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 12, 2018 at the Blackfoot East Stake Center, 1289 Mt. Putnam. The family will meet with friends and relatives Sunday evening, November 11, 2018, from 6:00-8:00 at the Hawker Funeral Home and for one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at the Riverside-Thomas Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions towards the cost of the funeral are being accepted at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.hawkerfuneralhome.com.
