Bob was born October 18, 1943 in Little Rock, AR to Curtis and Dorothy (Mason) Moore and passed away Friday, November 2, 2018.
Bob retired from the U. S. Navy as Chief Petty Officer, and taught Air Traffic Control for the University of Oklahoma at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center in Oklahoma City. He received his Master’s Degree from OU. In business he was the owner/operator of the Silver Spur Motel, Bob’s Stop and Go, the Bottle Shop, and High Hopes Beef Jerky.
While in the Navy, he traveled around the world both aboard ship and living in Naples, Italy, Oxnard, California, and Atsugi, Japan. He was actively involved in little league baseball as coach and leadership in Boy Scouts, resulting in both grandsons attaining the rank of Eagle Scout. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He enjoyed scuba diving, gardening, photography, and motorcycle riding. His favorite hobbies were photography and wood working, having made furniture and rocking animals.
Bob is survived by his wife, Nita Moore, of the home; son, Tim Moore and wife Kelly of Ada; grandsons, Micheal and wife Adde of Wewoka and Sean of Ada; great-granddaughters, Jazlynn and Cassie; and great-grandson, Danny; step-daughters, Kim Garcia of Chandler, Shana and husband Dusty Maugh of McLoud, Kay-Dee and husband Michael Grimes of Ripley; step-grandsons, Kurtis, Zachary, Donta, Ty and Triton; and step-great-granddaughter, Charlie Joe.
Bob was preceded in death by his former spouse, Sandra; daughter, Tammy; and two sisters, twins, Colleen and Geraldine.
