PAUL D. BROWN (Age 90) Judge Paul Douglas Brown of Washington, VA on Friday, November 6, 2009. He was born July 31, 1919 in Washington D.C. a son of Augusta and Harold M. Brown. His son David Brown, a Navy Operational Flight surgeon and fallen Space Shuttle Columbia astronaut, precedes him in death. Judge Brown sat on the bench for 35 years. He was elected judge of the County Court in 1950 and in 1966 appointed to the Arlington Circuit Court until his retirement in 1985. He was a member of the Arlington (Host) Lions Club for 65 years. Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years Dorothy R. Brown of Washington, VA and his son Douglas Brown of Fairfax Station, VA. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Casey and Daniel Brown of Fairfax Station, VA. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 10 at 10:30 a.m. in the Trinity Episcopal Church, 379 Gay St. Washington, VA 22747. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. in National Memorial Park, 7482 Lee Hwy Falls Church, VA 22042. Memorial contributions to Trinity Episcopal Church P.O.
