He was also preceded in death by his grandson, James Monroe Bullard; granddaughter, Amber Ashworth, and great-granddaughter, Sophia Ashworth. He was survived by his wife, Margaret G. Ashworth; two daughters, Linda Carr (Dennis) and Barbara Ashworth; son, Jerry Ashworth (Angie); three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; his sister, Ruby A. Gonzalez; and his aunt, Florence Baker.
