Mr. Bobby Dewayne Marshall, age 70, of Summerville, passed away on Friday, November 2, 2018, at his residence following an extended illness.

Mr. Marshall was born in Chattooga County on August 22, 1948, son of the late Robert William Marshall and the late Cleo Floyd. He was a retired truck driver, having been employed with R. W. T. Trucking Company. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp, having served during the Vietnam era. He was a member of Tunnel Hill First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Mae Rowlls Marshall; 2 daughters, Lori Raburn, Ringgold, and Leslie Helton (Tyler), Chickamauga; 2 sisters, Glenda Norton (Joe) and Jackie Weaver (Randy), both of Summerville; 3 grandchildren, Holli Raburn, Patrick and Benjamin Helton; nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Mr. Marshall’s wishes, he will be cremated and no formal services will be held.

Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, North Chapel and Crematory, has charge of the arrangements.
