Paul J. Booth, age 88, of Aurora, passed away October 31, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 30, 1930 in Ottawa, Illinois, the son of Paul and Cora Booth.

Paul married Shirley Ann Fecht on February 27, 1956 in North Aurora, Illinois. He owned and operated Booth trucking and Booth’s Bait and Tackle shop for many years. Paul was a member of AMVETS and the Montgomery VFW. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and rooting on his beloved Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs.

Paul’s greatest pleasure was being with his family especially Shirley, his loving wife of 62 years.

Paul leaves behind a legacy of teaching the value of hard work and loyalty to his family, friends and employees.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Booth; children, Patricia (Michael) Booth Wenberg, Brenda Booth, Robert (Susan) Booth, Connie Newell, and Donna Villa; a special grandson Damon Booth; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law Mary Ellen Booth.

He is preceded in death by his siblings, Geraldine (Richard) Damschen, and Thomas Booth.

Private family inurnment will occur following cremation at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Aurora, Illinois. Arrangements handled by The Daledien Mortuary, Aurora, IL.
