Bert Henry Cook , 62, 490 Blue Lake boulevard north, died at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday May, 24 1955
at Magic Valley Memorial hospital following a week's illness. He came to Twin Falls in 1922. from Burton, Nebraska where he was born Dec , 18 1892 . he was a
member of the Methodist church. He had operated Cook's grocery for a number of years.
Mr.Cook is survived by his widow; three daughters,
Mrs. Glenn Egbert, Idaho Falls ; Mrs. Clyde Crowe, Worland
,Wyo., and Mrs. Dan Turnipseed, Boise; two sons, Richard R. Cook, Sr., Twin Falls, and A/N Larry L. Cook , U.S. navy; five grandchildren; four brothers, Russell Cook Worland Wyo, Perry Cook and Kenneth Cook, both Burton Nebr., and Duane Cook, Springview, Nebr.; three sisters, Mrs. Pearl White and Mrs. Hazel Van Cleef, both Burton and Mrs. Fern Bailey, Valentine, Nebr.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Reynolds funeral home by the Rev. Floyd McCarthy Valley Christian church. Final rites will be held in Sunset Memorial park. Twin Falls Idaho.
Layed to rest next to his daughter in law .
Nora Ann Conway Cook Nora Ann always said he
was alone in the cemetery and when she died
she wanted to be buried next to him so he
wouldn't be alone and that he was a very nice man .
Note she even went as far
as to buy his headstone scene he didn't have one.

members of the Cook's grocery basketball
team, Bob Hanslng, Bob
McClure, Clayton Snyder, Gene
Harr Bud Dunn, Wallace Dites and Bob Sivers.
