Graveside services for Debra Lovell Owens Palmer, 61, of Liberty City will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 5, 2018, at Danville Cemetery in Kilgore. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 4, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater. Mrs. Palmer passed away Thursday at home surrounded by family.
Debra was born March 28, 1957 in Mexia, Texas to the late Nolan Owens and Maxine Wright Dempsey. She worked for more than 17 years for Sonic as a Breakfast Manager. Debra was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys and never missed a chance to watch them play. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Debra was a loving mother, grandmother and sister who will be dearly missed by all the family and friends she leaves behind.
Debra is survived by three children James Owens, Jennifer Henry and Jill Parrish; five siblings Judy Ramirez, Donna Owens, Jeanetta Vanderwater, Johnny Ethridge and Sally Harris; eight grandchildren Tiphanie Owens, James Nolan Owens, Jr., Kelsey Young, Abby Parrish, Zoey Parrish, Christian Cravens, Danny Fishburn and Kathleen Eudy as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents Nolan Owens and Maxine Dempsey; husband Joseph Palmer and grandson Zackery Fife.
