Patty was born on November 9, 1939 in Mansfield to Edwin and Alta (Kirkpatrick) Straub. She was a lifelong member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Mansfield. Patty loved to sing, listen to classical music, shop, eat out, and take walks around her home at Dayspring Assisting Living. Patty had a very strong work ethic and loved working at Newhope Industries, where she worked up until her death.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Philip; and her sisters, Rita Ann Roycraft and Sister Grace Straub. She is survived by her sister, Helen Sevits, and several nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday, November 10 at Resurrection Parish in Lexington, OH. Visiting hours will be one hour prior to the Mass at the Church. Interment will follow in Mansfield Catholic Cemetery.
