Fernando was a wonderful son, brother and friend. Resourceful and very smart, he was a straight A student and a member of the National Honors Society. He graduated from La Joya Community High School in Avondale, AZ . He played football, enjoyed video games, and was passionate about skateboarding.
Fernando was always there for others. He was kind hearted, emotional and showed his love by hugging everyone. He set high goals for himself and was working towards a degree in business with the desire to achieve enough financial success to provide his parents with a better way of life.
Fernando is survived by his parents, Blanca and Fernando Olivas, Sr.; sister, Miriam Alicia Olivas Aguirre; brother, Jonathan Olivas; and grandparents, Daniel Aguirre and Guillermina Gonzalez. A visitation will be held at 8:00 am with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 am, Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road, Goodyear, AZ 85338.
