Morris S. Williams, 79, of South Tulpehocken Street, Pine Grove, passed away Nov. 2 at home.

Born Jan. 25, 1939, in Jonesville, Va., he was a son of the late Bruce and Edith Miner Williams.

He was a Navy veteran.

Morris worked as a machinist.

He was the mayor of Pine Grove for eight years.

Preceding him in death were a sister and three brothers.

Surviving are his wife, Gloria Krammes Williams; four daughters, Kathy and husband, Franklin Schaeffer, Sandra Miller and companion, Kurt Wessner, Edith and husband, Michael Daubert, all of Pine Grove, and Melissa and husband, John Breslin, Schuylkill Haven; 10 grandchildren; great-grandchildren; a stepson, Jeff Dinger; two stepdaughters, Jane Belghali and Jennie Canfield; four step-grandchildren; a sister, Blanche Messer, Inman, S.C.

A Celebration of Life services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at the Pine Grove Masonic Lodge, 23 Oak Grove Road, Pine Grove, with the Rev. Krista Roehrig officiating. Interment will be held at a later date at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. H.L.
