PAUL JOSEPH WILLIS, 88, of Hagerstown, MD, died Thursday, November 1, 2018, at Coffman Nursing Home. Born December 11, 1929 in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Paul Jacob Willis and Gladys Marie Shank Myers.

He was a member of Virginia Avenue Church of God. Mr. Willis was retired, having worked for Colonial Hardwood Flooring Co. and Brandt Cabinet Works.

He is survived by daughters, Gladys Marita Wilson and Karen Elizabeth Niksch; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; stepsister, Catherine J. Garling of Hagerstown; and a granddaughter whom he raised, Penny M. Willis.

Mr. Willis was preceded in death by his stepfather, John Clinton Myers; two sons, Jeffrey Hanford Willis and Thayne S. Willis; daughter, Robin Lynette Hickey; a brother, John F. Cooper Jr.; sister, Dorothy M. Seal; stepbrothers, Lester M. Myers Sr. and Leroy B. Myers; stepsister, Lulu Mae Griffith; as well as his former wife, Betty Lou Willis.

A funeral service will be held at Virginia Avenue Church of God, , Hagerstown. Interment will follow in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown. Arrangements by the Harman Funeral Home.
