Joaquin, TX - On Thursday, November 1, 2018, Joseph Benjamin Blake left this world to join his wife of 47 years, Vetta Meyers Blake; daughter, Karen Anita Blake; and his parents, Richard and Pauline, in a Glorious Reunion. He gave to us 88 years.
Joe was loved by all who knew him and will be deeply missed. Left to cherish his memory are his son, Kevin Blake; and numerous nieces and nephews that he thought of as his children, Lolli Jones, Danny Meyers, Lee Meyers, William Meyers, Jimmy Blake, Jerry Blake, Bobby Joe Blake, and Ricky Blake; and all of their families. He is also survived by many dear friends and church family at 1st Baptist Church in Logansport.
A graveside services honoring Mr. Blake will be held Monday, November 5, 2018 at 2:00pm at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home with a visitation beginning at 1:00pm until the time of service. Rev. Charles Hall will be officiating the services.
