Celebration of Life for Mrs. Mary Lizzie Banks of Imperial Healthcare formerly of Rockdale Park, who passed on May 16, 2006, will be held Saturday, May 20, 2006 at 12 p.m. at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Atlanta, GA. The remains will lie in state at the church from 11 a.m. until the hour of service. The Rev. Douglas Stowers officiating. Interment will be in Monte Vista Biblical Gardens. The family will assemble at 1900 Perry Blvd., Apt. 2419 at 11 a.m. on the day of the service.
She is survived by brother, Mr. G.W. Vernum, Commerce, GA; devoted granddaughter, Cathy Wheelous (Edwin), Carrolton, GA; step-son, Mr. and Mrs. Willie H. Banks (Betty), Atlanta, GA; step-son, Mr. and Mrs. Carlton Banks (Brenda), Atlanta, GA; step-son, belated James S. Banks, Jr. (Mary), Atlanta, GA; step-son, belated George (Dickie) Banks (Barbara Ann); daughter-in-law, Ruby McClendon, Atlanta, GA, and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
