JOHN WIEDMER DIES
John Wiedmer, 81, died at his home northwest of Madison early Monday morning, following five weeks illness. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon in the Verdigria Brethern Church.
Burial was in the Woods Cemetery.
Mr. Wiedmer was born July 3, 1859, at Berne, Switzerland. He located in Butler County in 1884, and came to Madison about fifty years ago.
He married Louise Belsar in 1844 in Berne. He was a member of Evangelical Church.
He is survived by his wife; four son, Fred of Madison, William and Peter of America and Gus of near Olpe; and three daughters, Mrs. Emma Whitehurst of the home; Mrs. Flora Thompson of Emporia; and Mrs. Beert Garriott of Madison.
