Irma Lenora Anderson was born on September 25, 1919, to Erik and Elsa (Peterson) Anderson. She grew up in rural Stockholm with her brothers, William and Vernon. She was able to reside at home with her parents for the first half of her life. To meet her special needs, she then lived in Redfield for several years. She later moved to the home of Pasquale and Gina Natalie in Watertown. Irma became a resident at Jenkins Living Center in 2005, where she spent her final years.
Irma loved everyone she met, and everyone loved her. She had an infectious laugh, which was contagious. Her concern for others was her trademark. She loved her collection of stuffed animals, playing bingo, and wearing caps and hats. She enjoyed birthday pizza parties and music. Most of all she loved the Lord.
Irma is survived by her nieces: Diane (John) Maynes; Linda Nickey; and Tammy Dornbusch; nephews: Steven (Barb) Anderson; Terry (Sandy) Anderson; Danny (Linda) Anderson; and Tommy Anderson; one cousin, Lorraine Anderson-Schneider; and many great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great nieces, and great-great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Erik and Elsa; her brothers: William and Vernon; and one nephew, Jerry.
