The son of Frank and Rose (Walls) Napier, Kenneth was born July 11, 1923 in Kings Mountain, Kentucky. A welder, he retired in 1978 after 30 years from Arvins. Kenneth was a member of Greenwood VFW, the National Rifle Association and was an avid fisherman and hunter. Kenneth served in the U.S. Army during WW II, earning the WW II Victory Medal, the Good Conduct Medal, the American Theatre Ribbon Distinguished Unit Badge and European-African Middle Eastern Ribbon with five Bronze Stars.
Survivors: two sons, Jack (Cindy) Napier, Jerry Napier, both of Greenwood; four grandchildren, Jennifer (Steven) Estrada, Christina (Tim) Turner, Jack and Craig Napier; two great-grandchildren, McKenzie and Elizabeth Estrada; a brother, Marvin Napier of Tucson, Arizona; a sister, Frieda Richard of Knoxville, Tennessee. Besides his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife, Della M. (Bastin) Napier; two sisters, Dorothy Akers and Hazel Alvey and a half-sister, Faye Roy.
Services were entrusted to Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Home of Greenwood, Indiana.
