Joyce E. Habbyshaw, 74, of Mercer, died at 2:05 a.m. Thursday (Nov. 1, 2018) in Sharon Regional Medical Center due to an extended illness.

She was born on Aug. 5, 1944, in Sharon, to Winifred (Rodgers) Ladner and Lester Ladner.

She graduated from Sharon High School in 1962 and was a bookkeeper for Heiman, Sewinsky and Rogers law firm in Sharon.

She and her husband ran a non-profit bingo in the Columbia Theater in Sharon. She enjoyed gardening and doing crafts.

She is survived by: a daughter, Lori Glaize of Mercer; a son, Mark Swartz, of Harrisville; sister, Lynne Milliken and her husband David of Sharon; brother, Jeffrey Ladner of Fredericksburg, Va.; grandchildren, Kyle Glaize of Greenville, Frederic Schultz III of Sharon; and great-grandchildren, Garrett Hawks and Kaitlynn Schultz.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Raymond Habbyshaw, whom she married June 1984 and who passed away Dec. 14, 1996; and a nephew, Douglas Valimont.

Burial: America's Cemetery.
