St. George - Renee White age 83 of St. George, UT. passed away on Oct 27th, 2018. She was born on July 26th, 1935 in Randlett, UT. to Irel (Ike) and Vera (Dixie) Westover.

Renee graduated from high school in Montello, NV and later earned her Bachelor's degree from the University of Utah. During her life she was a high school English teacher, administrative staff at Brigham Young University, and administrative staff at the US Post Office in Provo Utah, from where she retired. She moved to St George to be close to her sister Mikki, and later her sister Jody, and lived here for the last 20 years. She loved to crochet, and made countless beautiful afghans. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed serving in the Church. Among her many callings, she served as Relief Society President twice, Primary President, and early morning seminary teacher. She also served a mission in the Family History Center at the St George Temple. She enjoyed doing family history and temple work, and left volumes of family history books, charts, and journals. Her greatest joy was her family. She loved being Mom, Grandmom, and Gigi (great-grandmom).

She is survived by her sister Mikki Mecham (Earl), her children, Mick White (Kathy), Sherry Steadman, and Vicki Averett (Rand); her grandchildren, Shayler White (Joanna), Tanan White (Meredith), Mickelle Taylor (Shawn), Jace White (Laura), Kendrick Hiss, Lana Hiss, Mindi Miller (Cody), Sharly Hiss (Richard), Chami Morgan (Alan), Cody Averett, Sean Averett (Aubrea) and 15 great-grandchildren..

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, brother Ronnie Westover, and sister Jody Gariano.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday Nov 5th, 2018 at 1:30pm at the Slickrock Ward chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2434 E. Riverside Dr, St George.
