Daughter of Ollin & Ruby Gholston. As a young girl, her family moved to the suburbs of Chicago where Elaine graduated in 1979 from Glenbard North High School, in carol Stream. She worked as a mortgage reporter for many years but was happiest providing a home for her son Brandon Wiley. Elaine met Juan Garcia in a restaurant in Chicago and it was Love at first site! Elaine & Juan were married a few months later on July 16, 2004. A few years ago she & Juan moved to York, Ala, but made frequent to visits to Illinois. Every visit would start and end with an Italian beef sandwich with sweet peppers.
Elaine accepted Christ into her life at an early age. Surviving are her husband Juan, son Brandon, grandson Isaiah Wiley and step-mother Willie Mae Gholston, with many siblings. Also with many nephews and nieces.
