She was a native of Graham County and the daughter of the late Clyde A. and Ruth Marie Jenkins Crisp. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J.W. Edwards in 2014 and her daughter Kathy Rogers.
Billie June was Registered Nurse and was employed by Graham County Schools. She loved working with children at school and over the years she tried to keep up with all the students she met while working there. She also loved the Graham County community. In her later years, she moved away from Robbinsville due to declining health, but she continually missed her native Graham county till her passing. She is survived by her sons, John Craig Edwards of Concord, NC, Kyle Edwards of Robbinsville, NC; Daughters, Patricia Edwards of Loveland, CO, Annette Moore of Hickory, NC; and her sister, Joyce Jenkins of Stecoah, NC. She has 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
Burial at the Jenkins Cemetery.
