"Joplin News Herald" Feb. 26, 1938 "Information of the death of Archie Buck, about 50 years old, Feb. 18 in Idaho, has been received by relatives here. Mr. Buck who formerly was employed at the Eagle-Picher smelter here, went to Idaho several months ago. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Martha Dawson [this actually refers to his sister Mrs. Charles (Mary) Dawson; his mother was Margaret Myers Buck] of Sarcoxie, and a sister, Mrs. Nora Remington (is spelled Pennington] east of Joplin" [except that Nora Pennington lived in Castleford, ID, though her Buck family was from Jasper County, Missouri].
