Nancy M. Stowell, age 82, of Lyndonville, Vt., passed away at the St. Johnsbury Health & Rehab Center, Thursday evening, Nov. 1, 2018, following a long period of declining health.

Nancy was born in Bennington, Vt., on June 20, 1936, daughter to the late George Edward and Gladys (Surdam) Jepson. She was raised and educated there and while working at Polygraphic, a greeting card company in Bennington, she met Bernard William Stowell. They married on April 25 1964. They lived in Bennington and later in Boston for 2 years before coming to Lyndonville to settle down and raise a family. Nancy enjoyed gardening, soap operas, her cats, reading Harlequin romance novels and being outside.

She is survived by her two sons. She was predeceased by six siblings: Joyce Adams, Norma Taylor, Phyllis Pratt, Ross Jepson, and Raymond and Donald Martin.

Burial at the Lyndon Center Cemetery.
