Clyde Lee Hunt, 83, of El Dorado passed away on Friday, April 13, at Hudson Memorial Nursing Home. He was born December 17, 1934 in Dubach, La. to the union of Jack Lee Hunt and Lucille Tanner Hunt. In his younger years Clyde enjoyed softball and coaching Boys Club Baseball.

An avid deer hunter and fisherman, he was a graduate of Louisiana Tech and retired from Lion Oil as an Accounting Supervisor at the age of 62.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Amy Jo Machen.

He is survived by his wife, Laverne Hunt of El Dorado, son Alan Lamar Hunt of El Dorado, daughter Karen Leigh Robinson of El Dorado and daughter Holly Morgan (Chad) of Hot Springs. He is survived by his brother, Glen (Cindy) Hunt and sisters; Nell (James) Grafton, Judy (Mike) Mabry, Jane Hunt and Shirley (Bill) Colvin. He is survived by seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10 until 11 a.m. on Tuesday, 17 April at Young’s Funeral Directors. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. at Young’s Funeral Directors.

Memorials may be made to El Dorado First Baptist Church or Life Touch Hospice House.
