Edward C. Marsh

LITTLE VALLEY - Edward C. Marsh, 79, of Little Valley, passed away Sunday (Sept. 23, 2018) at ECMC in Buffalo.

He was born on Jan. 28, 1939, in Ellicottville, son of the late Clarence and Helen Chase Marsh. On March 2, 1963, he married the former Nancy Green, who survives.

Mr. Marsh was a U.S. Army veteran.

He was employed at Fancher Furniture Co. in Salamanca for 50 years. He loved wood working, especially making toys and partaking in craft shows. Mr. Marsh was always willing to help around the community and will be missed by many.

He also helped raise his grandchildren, Danay, Brandon and Christopher, and great-grandchild, Dimitri.

Besides his loving wife, Mr. Marsh is survived by one son, David Marsh of Kill Buck; and two daughters, Catherine (Daniel) Marsh-Johnson of Little Valley and Peggy (Thad) Willsie of Randolph; a sister, Doris Gross of Little Valley; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Mr. Marsh is predeceased by a son, Robert Marsh; a daughter, Becky Marsh; a brother, Dennis Marsh; and a sister, Louise.

Burial with full military honors will be in Little Valley Rural Cemetery.
