Jacqueline Nichols Harris, 85, of Beaverdam, passed away on October 31, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Temple Harris and brother, Paul Nichols. Jackie was a lifetime member of Zion Christian Church in Beaverdam and retired from Verizon. She was a part of the Beaverdam Heritage Days Foundation, Association for the Preservation of the Beaverdam Depot and Western Hanover Emergency Action Team. Jackie was proud to be named the 2012 Hanover Christmas Mother. She is survived by her children, Daniel N. Harris (Dawn), Paul G. Harris, Temple K. Pierce (Billy) and Cornelia H. Conner (Bill); grandchildren, Kimberly S. Jones (James), Robert T. Snead (Allyson), Justin M. Snead (Jessee), Taylor J. Harris (Rebecca), and Connor B. Harris; great-grandchildren, Travis and Robert Jr; brother, Daniel F. Nichols (Flo); sisters, Nancy Nichols and Janet Catalano (Tim) and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 2, 2018 from 5-8pm and on Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 10am-12noon at Zion Christian Church, 16158 Beaverdam School Rd, Beaverdam, VA 23015. Following Saturday's visitation a graveside service will be held at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to W.H.E.A.T., P.O. Box 171, Beaverdam, VA 23015 or Zion Christian Church.
