Nicholas James Collins, 31, died on Monday, October 29, 2018. Born in Meriden on March 28, 1987, he was the son of Nick D. Collins, Laurie Couture Collins and Neil R. Orsini. He had resided in Meriden for the majority of his life. Nick graduated from O.H. Platt High School and attended Lincoln Tech. Nick loved music, horror films, comics and most of all his son, Jake. He always attended opening day of fishing.

He is survived by his son, Jake Robert James Collins and Jake's mother, Christina Fiore; three sisters, Katelyn A. Collins, Kristy L. Collins and Kaycee C. Orsini and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

The funeral will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 12 noon at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main Street, Meriden. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
