Denise M. Black age 50, of Kingsford Heights, IN passed away on Friday, October 19, 2018 at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.

She was born on February 4, 1968 in Michigan City, IN to Theodore and Lorna Wantola. Her father has preceded her in death and she is survived by
her mother.

Denise is also survived by her children: Jarrett Black, Savannah Black and Alyssa Arneson; brother: Mark (Tami) Wantola; sisters: Nancy (Bill) Toth, Janet (Darrell) Mashburn; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her sister: Betty June Miller.

She was a graduate of Elston Senior High School class of 1986. Denise was a dreamer with passion for the arts and embarked on many adventures in
her life, such as graphic design, designer jewelry, drawing, painting, was an avid fan of anything to do with mysteries, and garage saleing, she was
always searching for the best deal. Denise lived in several different cities, Los Angeles, Seattle, Wyoming to name a few. She was a free spirit with a
kind heart and lived a full life with her greatest joy, which was being with her children.

Cremation has taken place.

A celebration of life service will be held at 12:00 noon, on Saturday October 27, 2018 at Faith City Assembly of God, located at 1314 S. Woodland
Ave., Michigan City IN 46360, with Pastor Bill Barnes officiating. Family and friends are encouraged to bring a memory of Denise with them to
share.

In lieu of flowers, in memory of Denise, expressions of sympathy may be given to: Edward Jones for the Benefit of her daughter, Alyssa Arneson.
